Lenovo launched the Vibe Shot smartphone with 1080p display and 16MP camera with OIS last month at the MWC 2015. It seems the company is already working on a lower-end version of the Vibe Shot. A new version that features a 5-inch screen with 720 x 1280 pixels was recently approved by China’s Telecommunication Equipment Certification Center (TENAA).

The Lenovo model Z90-3 has same dimensions as the Vibe Shot with 7.6mm thickness. The rest of the specs are the same such as the 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 mobile processor, 3GB of RAM, 8MP front facing camera, 16MP primary snapper with triple LED flash, and 32GB of built-in storage with microSD card slot. The original Vibe Shot runs Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box, but we are yet to find out if this new version will be able to match that.
Both the original and the new 720p model appear to be the Dual-SIM models supporting 4G LTE network bands.
