Hitherto Micromax was left behind in introducing 4G LTE based connectivity but now the news is that the popular Indian handset manufacturer is all set to launch their first 4G LTE based smart phone. Soon it will be in competition against its protagonists like Motorola, Xiaomi etc who have already unveiled handsets offering 4G LTE connectivity.
This new 4G supporting handset is nothing but Canvas Knight 2 kin of faddish Canvas Knight Flagship which was touted the best smart phone by the Micromax at that time. Even this all new Canvas E471 Knight 2incorporates some of the latest features which makes it tenacious enough to compete against to the likes ofXiaomi Redmi Note, Moto E 2nd Gen, Lenovo A6000, Redmi 2 etc.

Display and Design:
It is going to be a 5” handset sporting HD Amoled Display. There will be screen protection from Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It measures 142X72X6.3mm in dimension. Instead of plastic body, users will see glass body for the first time and there will be metal chasing to give it smart and alluring look. It just measures 6.3mm in thickness which gives it quite sleek look. Moreover 5” is standard display size from the company as most of the handsets boards 5” display which is easy to carry and large enough to let users enjoy the movies, videos, etc.
SOFTWARE FRONT:
It will be powered by Octa core processor which is clocked at the frequency of 1.5GHz. The chipset is not specified yet. Processor will be coupled along with 2GB of internal RAM. Octa core processor with 2GB of internal RAM is a nice combination and is offered by many handsets in the mid-range market. Octa core processor will ensure that device delivers fast and glitch free performance as well as better power saving techniques. It will operate on latest Android 5.0 Lollipop version out of the box.
Camera and storage:
It features 13MP of rear camera which will be mated along with 5MP of fixed focus front camera to click selfies or for video calling. There will be an auto focus rear camera which very obviously will come with LED flash to light up the dark background.
To store all your favorite applications and other stuffs there will be 16GB of internal memory. It is not yet mentioned whether there will be expandable external memory or not.
Battery and Connectivity:
There are no words on the battery capacity of the device. But it is definitely going to have super Power saving mode to maximize the power efficiency. For connectivity it is loaded with features like Bluetooth, WiFi, USB, GPS etc. Moreover it will be the first device from the Micromax to surface with 4G LTE connectivity, it is the USB of this handset.
