Earlier lot of Chinese brands are known for low cost and low quality products.Since few years, it been totally changed and now we see a lot of innovation coming from China. We have seen the rotational camera, bezel-less displays, thinnest smartphones all this from Chinese manufacturers. Gionee is one of the manufacturers, who are well known for their innovative design and features. The 23MP rear camera on the upcoming Gionee device Elife E8 can shoot images up to 100MP is one of them.
We have seen the world’s thinnest smartphone (at the time of launch) Gionee Elife S5.1 with a thickness of 5.1mm. Today Gionee posted an image on the Chinese social networking site Weibo about the upcoming Gionee M5.
The marathon series is well known for its massive battery capacity. The Gionee M2, which has a battery of 4,200mAh and Gionee M3 with 5,000mAh battery, are the very few devices with such a huge battery capacities. Now Gionee had shifted the gears from huge batteries to dual batteries. Yes, you heard it right; the upcoming Gionee M5 will be coming with dual batteries. The company claims the devices will give four days of battery life.
Gionee M5 can be used with one of the two batteries, so one of the batteries can be charged while using the smartphone. This will be quite a relief for ones who are looking for good battery life in this power-hungry smartphone era. The rumours suggest that each battery will be larger than 2,500mAh capacity. There are no any other details known about the device. We will update once the company unveils more information about the specifications of the smartphone
