We have news about the launch of a new smartphone from Doogee, a Shenzhen headquartered company. The company will launch ‘Doogee Nova Y100X‘ in the next few weeks for just $84.99. It comes the volume rockers placed on the back of the device while the power button is on the top. From the image above, we can see the ergonomic placement of the volume buttons though they are on the back of the device like LG G4, they are placed on the right part of the rear panel.
The device looks thin and curved edges. It also comes with the anti-fingerprint oil to avoid the stains and scratches. On the front of the device, There will be 5-inch HD (1280×720) IPS display with 2.5D curved glass and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It has just 1mm bezels that indeed gives more screen-to-body ratio.
The Doogee Nova Y100X will be available in the colors – Black and White. Other rumours suggest that it comes powered by MediaTek 6582 quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz with 1GB of RAM and a 2200mAh battery. There will be an 8MP rear camera and 5MP front camera for selfies, both the cameras are accompanied by LED flash. It runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop out-of-the-box.
It comes with 8GB of internal storage of which only 5GB will be user available. There is also a microSD card slot that supports up to 32GB. The device measures 141.4 x 70.7 x 6.9 mm and weighs only 119 grams. It supports dual SIM dual standby and offers connectivity features like 3G, Wi-Fi, GPA/A-GPS and Bluetooth 4.0.
