India has become the first destination of every Chinese smartphone maker to widen their market. In 2015, we have seen many Chinese smartphone makers who entered Indian markets. And today another Chinese smartphone maker called “ZOPO” has enter the Indian market. The Shenzhen-headquartered company started its operations in 2012 and was listed in ‘Top 10 Promising Mobile Brands in China’ list for the year 2014

Recently, ZOPO has officially unveiled ZOPO Speed 7 for Rs.12,999, and it will be the company’s first-ever smartphone to enter in India. Speed 7 was earlier launched in China along with Speed 7 Plus and ZOPO smartwatch in July. The company has collaborated exclusively with Advantage Computers India Pvt. Ltd. (ADCOM) to sell the device offline and online across India.
Coming to the specifications, The device uses 5-inch Full HD (1920×1080) IPS display. It comes powered by 64-bit MediaTek MT6753 octa-core processor with Mali-720 GPU backed with 3GB RAM, 16GB built-in storage, and microSD card support for expansion upto 64GB.
It features a 13.2MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash and a 5MP front shooter for video calling and selfie clicks. The device has dual sim functionality with 4G-LTE support, and other connectivity options are Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, GPA/A-GPS, and MicroUSB 2.0.


















The device comes packed with a 2,500mAh Li-polymer battery that offers 10 hours of talk time and lasts upto to 120 hours on standby. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop based Z-UI. The dimensions of the device measure 146.1 x 70.6 x 8.65mm and weighs 150 grams and will be available in the colors – Black and White.
The other highlight features of this device are Smart Awake, Double-Click Awake, and Smart Gesture Control. The handset will be available online via Snapdeal from the first week of September priced at Rs. 12,999. There is also another device called Speed 7 Plus with a 5.5-inch display, but it hasn’t been launched by the company in India.
In the over-crowded Indian smartphone market, the new Chinese smartphone maker ZOPO will have to put considerable efforts for its survival among other brands.
