The Taiwanese Company Acer has announced a new tablet Acer Predator 8 today at IFA event in Berlin. In the same event, the company also announced its first 4GB RAM smartphone called Acer Predator 6.
The new tablet sports an 8-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution IPS display with Predator ColorBlast technology that brings ultra color for 100% NTSC display. It comes powered by an Intel Atom x7 Cherry Trail processor coupled with Intel HD graphics and 2GB RAM. It has 32GB/64GB onboard storage that can be expanded upto 128GB storage via micro SD card. The tablet will run on Android 5.1 Lollipop and connectivity include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and other basic connectivity options.


The Predator 8 is more a gaming tablet that holds a crazy design with four front-facing speakers that are controlled with Acer’s DSP algorithm that would create virtual surround sound for better gaming experience. It also has four front and back metal covers. The company said that the device will be available from October with price starting from 349 Euros. Though, it would be available in the United States on November 6th with a price tag of $300.
