HTC had a disappointing first half of the year in which their latest flagship device HTC One M9 released. The smartphone maker was confident before the release of M9 but were mostly disappointed with very low sales in the market. As a result to regain its lost market share the giant smartphone maker will unveil its next flagship device called HTC Aero. As per earlier reports HTC was planning a Hero Product for October 2015 launch but it is now assumed as Aero.
As per the leaks HTC Aero will be known as HTC A9, and it will use a 5.2-inch QHD (2560×1440) display with 2.5D curved glass and Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection on top of it. It is also expected that the device will feature an upgraded version of the camera seen in HTC M9. As per the rumours, A9 will come powered by MediaTek Helio X20 deca-core processor backed with 4GB RAM.

The processor is different from HTC M9 that sports a Snapdragon 810 chipset and it will be the first smartphone to feature a deca-core processor. The sources suggest that it may also become the first device in the company’s flagship series to run on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. The device is also expected to boast a powerful 3500mAh battery.
The design of the HTC A9 will be a full metal body with curved edges resembling tech giant Apple’s iPhone 6. The device will be available in two colours- Tyrant Gold and Dark Grey and will be priced roughly between $470 and $625. Although no official announcement is made, it is predicted that the Chinese smartphone maker may launch their next flagship device in October or November.
As per the earlier news, HTC’s next major flagship device will be called as HTC O2. As per the sources, it will come powered by Snapdragon 820 chipset and is likely to arrive in the first quarter of 2016
