LeTV, a Chinese smartphone manufacturer, has been working on a successor of the highly appreciated LeTV LeMax called as LeMax 2. Earlier this month, the company also released a teaser showing that the LeMax 2 will come with a Snapdragon 820 SoC and if it is true we can expect the device to launch in the first quarter of 2016.

Currently, there are only 4GB RAM smartphones available in the market such as Asus Zenfone 2, Galaxy Note 5, OnePlus 2
, etc. Today, a fresh rumor is out stating that the LeMax 2 will come with a whopping 6GB RAM. It is also purported that the Chinese company LeTV’s Le Max 2 will be the first smartphone to boast 4 x 1.5GB Samsung RAM modules for a total of 6GB RAM. It is also expected that Samsung’s next flagship Galaxy S7 will come with this high amount of RAM.
The other rumoured specifications of Le Max 2 are a 5.7-inch 2K display, a new Sony IMX300 23MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture. It is expected that the rear snapper will offer 0.1 seconds autofocus speed and can also record 4K video at 24fps. As this information is wholly based on rumors, we expect you take this with a pinch of salt and stay tuned for more details about the device.
LeTV is still new in the highly crowded Chinese smartphone market, and the company is currently selling three smartphones called as Le One, Le One Pro and Le Max. The company has also claimed that it will achieve 1 million sales mark in record time beating any other new smartphone maker.
