It has been quite a fascinating week for smartphone lovers with Xiaomi unveiling MiUi 7, and Samsung unveiled their Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge+ phablets. Now, Lenovo has launched an interesting device in China. The ‘Lenovo Phab Plus’ phablet is the latest offering of the giant Chinese smartphone maker.
The Phab Plus features a 6.8-inch tablet-sized Full HD (1920X1080) display and oleophobic coating. It comes powered by 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa-core SoC along with an Adreno 405 GPU and 2GB RAM. It has 32GB of internal storage and microSD card support for expansion



At the back of the device, there is a 13MP camera with OmniVision sensor and dual LED flash and a 5MP front for selfie lovers. It has dual sim functionality, and connectivity includes 4G-LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-fi, GPS/A-GPS and a microUSB port.
It comes packed with a 3500mAh battery and runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop-based Lenovo’s Vibe UI out-of-the-box. The dimensions of the device measure 96.6 x 186.6 x 7.6 mm weighs around 220 grams. It also features Dolby Atmos surround sound that offers terrific sound quality.

The phablet looks sleek in design as it measures less than 0.3-inches in thickness. It sports on-screen buttons and both physical buttons, i.e., volume and power/lock buttons are located on its right-hand side. With such solid specifications and sleek design, Phab Plus is certainly a powerful offering from Lenovo.
This device is priced around $410 USD and will be available exclusively through China Telecom, China Unicom, and China Mobile. As of now there is no information about the launch of this phablet outside of China
