LeTV, more of a video streaming service in China, than a smartphone manufacturer, is probably in a race to be the “first” for something, and thus, chose the USB Type C connectivity as the port to be included in its new series of “superphones”, as they call them. The three new smartphones, LeTV One, One Pro and One Max are the three devices that are said to be having USB Type-C port, and each of them have some good specs packed in. Even a bezel-less screens as a part of the package in each.

LeTV Le One

This one has a 5.5-inch Full HD display, MediaTek Helio X10 processor (MT6795, octa-core chipset), 3GB RAM and three variants based on storage – 16GB, 32GB and 64GB. On the back of the device, you’ll see a 13-megapixel camera with OIS and F/2.0 aperture, while there is a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with F/2.0 aperture and a 90-degree wide angle lens for group selfies. This is a Dual-SIM device, and comes packed with a 3000 mAh battery.
The pricing is 1499 Yuan for 16GB, 1599 Yuan for 32GB and 1799 Yuan for 64GB.
While the Le One is not the most powerful, there are some similarities in the One Pro and One Max, with the same processor and front-facing camera.

LeTV Le One Pro

This is again a 5.5-inch device, but it has a Quad HD display (2560×1440 pixels), and here, the Snapdragon 810 processor powers the phone, along with 4GB of RAM. Yes, another device having 4 gig of RAM. It comes in two variants based on storage – 32GB and 64GB. The device has a 13MP rear camera with OIS, and a 4-megapixel front-facing camera. It is a Dual SIM phone, with a 3000 mAh battery. This has the USB 3.0 Type-C connector, along with MHL 3.0.
The One Pro is priced at 2499 Yuan for 32GB and 2699 Yuan for 64GB version.

LeTV Le One Max

The One Max is a phablet, with a 6.33-inch Quad HD display (2560×1440 pixels) and Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor with the same 4GB of RAM as in the One Pro. As is the device advanced with the internal specs, there storage variants, with 64GB and 128GB storage options. The One Max has a 21-megapixel Sony IMX230 sensor with OIS on the back, and the F/2.0 aperture, and on the front, there is a 4-megapixel selfie shooter with F/2.0 aperture.
Choice of 3400 mAh and 3500 mAh batteries, probably based on the storage options, the Le One Max has a fingerprint sensor placed just below the back camera. The connectivity options included are Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac with hotspot support, Bluetooth 4.1 with APT-X support, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, and 4G LTE.
There’s a lot more packed in, and no wrong in the company calling this as a Superphone, except for the size. You’d also see an infra-red blaster for remote control, electronic compass, hall sensors, gravity sensor, ambient light sensor, gyroscope along with a proximity sensor as well. It will be available in Silver and Gold options, and the pricing for this is not set as the company is looking to conduct a poll to understand.
These devices, all three of them, look great and the two whose pricing is known already, they are a killer for the price. Though, we are talking of Chinese smartphones, and thus no confirmation whether these will be available outside the home country.
