XOLO has just launched its 4G smartphone in the budget range, to enhance the LTE smartphone lineup, but the XOLO LT2000 comes into the sub-10K INR price range, as the company has launched it for the price of Rs. 9999, exactly the same pricing as the Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 4G. Though, it is the new Xiaomi Redmi 2 that has the same chipset powering as the one in LT2000.
This certainly is a phablet, with a 5.5-inch screen having a HD resolution, and it comes covered with Dragontrail scratch resistant glass. Internally, the LT2000 comes packed with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, a decent quad-core chipset at 1.2 GHz that supports 4G LTE connectivity and thus, we indeed see this as a LTE device. It has a 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage, while there is a MicroSD card slot for storage expansion by a maximum of 32GB.
The XOLO LT2000 runs Android 4.4 KitKat and the phone will be upgradeable to Android Lollipop OS later on. The back of the device has a 8-megapixel camera with BSI sensor and it can record 1080p videos. There are several enhancements on the camera software as it includes features like Scene detection & tuning, High Dynamic Range (HDR), Low Light enhancement, face recognition as well as vertical and horizontal panorama captures. On the front, there is a 2-megapixel selfie camera.
The LT2000 can compete well in the category with the other devices, with its good battery capacity of 2920 mAh, and it is said to give a talk time of 30.28 hours, while the standby time is up to 760 hours. This is a Dual SIM device, with one SIM supporting 4G LTE (LTE TDD 2300 MHz, LTE FDD 1800 MHz) while the other will support 3G connectivity.
The phone is priced at Rs. 9999, and it is available on Snapdeal for now.
